What I Was Up To...

Ok, now that Christmas is over I can show you what I have been up to! :) I made my sister a 6x6 scrapbook of her growing up. I love the way it turned out and I am pretty sure she did too! :) I used almost everything from SU! some of it is current, some retired and some new! Also, some of the pages aren't quite done, and the last bit of her (high school, engaged, married) aren't quite done because I am missing pics, but when I get those done I will for sure show those as well. :)

This is the cover page that will have her name, birthday, how much she weighed and all that fun stuff on it. :)
This fabulous paper is from the new Raspberry Tart set that will be available in January with the new catalog! :)

I used so many different things that I am not going to include a supply list, so if you have any questions about what I used just let me know. *Also, I am mad because it wont let you click on the pictures to make them bigger and I am not sure why, so if anyone knows how to change that, let me know. :)*

Three More Reasons To Get This Bundle...

Reason #1...
Reason #2...

Reason #3...
I am having so much fun making things with this new bundle and there are still fun things I haven't even used. :) I love the little birds and this paper is so yummy. I feel like I am being stingy and not wanting to use to much until the new catalog comes out and I can order more. :) I just wanted to show a close up of the circle that the little birds are in on the third card. I made the scallops on the circle using the corner rounder punch. If you want to learn how to do that, there is a tutorial HERE.
Enjoy! I have a few other things in mind with this bundle that I want to show you, so I will post those when I get them finished! :)

What I used:
Stamps: Love You Much
Ink: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Accessories: Candy Lane DSP, Paper Piercer, Corner Rounder Punch, Sponge Daubers, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Pretty in Pink 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Edge Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker

Tag Covers...

First things first, I need to apologize for my absence. Last Saturday we went out of town and my little girl got sick, from there on I got it. Luckily my other one and hubby didn't, but that is the reason I haven't posted anything new. A week without stamping...Sad huh?!

Anyway, last night I finally got a chance to stamp, and it isn't much but they needed to get done. My friend is making like a brag book thing for her grandma that will have pictures of all her kids, grand kids and great-grand kids. She is making it using those empty luggage tags...hmmm, maybe I should have taken a picture of that, well, I'm sure most of you know what I am talking about but if not let me know. :) Anywhoo, she asked me to make the cover for it. She wanted the pink one initially and then wanted a few more, all the same, just different colors. I wanted to show a close of of the black one because of course stamping black on black wouldn't show up, so I stamped it in versamark and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. :)

Holiday Frame...

How fun is this!?! Ok, well I LOVE it! I first saw this idea HERE on Lindsey's blog and absolutely love it. I however don't have the Big Shot yet, so I showed my friend that is also a demo and she did a class with it. As a thank you for the idea, I got to go make one with her for free...even better. :) She changed it up a bit from the original, but still so cute! I love them both and want to make more. :) Can't you just picture it with Kiwi Kiss or Baja Breeze in the background?! Love it. :)

Post-it Holders part 2...

Here are the rest of the Post-it holders that I got finished. Lots of pics, but that's good right?!?! Can I tell you really, how much I love these?! Some of them I love so much I don't want to give them away. :) Again, still no pens, well at least when I took all of the pictures but the first one. :) (I had the pens by then) So, just imagine the rest with the cute little black pen in them. :)

Post-it Holders...

My friend asked me to make a bunch of Post-it holders for her. Here are three of the ones I have gotten done...I will post the pictures of the other ones when I get them made. :) She wants them very non-specific, which is a lot harder for me than I thought. :) It wouldn't be too hard, but I also like them to have some dimension to them and I just keep feeling like I need to add words. :) Do you know what I mean or am I just crazy?! Don't answer that! :)

Okay, so I ran out of the mini pens, but just imagine a cute little pen in the last two. :) The pens come from Staples, and they are the best deal I have found. If you find a better one let me know. :)

*Hmmm...after looking at my last post I guess I have been liking the bird stamp a little bit! :)

A Color Challenge...No!

I really wanted to participate in this weeks color challenge on Kristina's blog but apparently these were tough colors for me. I tried so many different things and these were the best two. Scary huh! I guess I just wasn't feeling it...even my hubby told me that they weren't "up to par." Oh well. :) I still wanted to post them just to show I tried, but I didn't enter them in the challenge. :) I think my problem was I made these little button flowers and was really wanting to use them but I just couldn't come up with a WAY to use them. :)

Tag Package and a Sorry...

Well, first I need to apologize. I had been thinking of doing a class the first part of December and had told a few of you about it. Well, things have changed and I am not going to do the class. Basically what it came down to was money...I could either plan a December class on short notice or save what I had over to getting the NEW catalogs and new fun sets to start planning new and great classes and projects for the first of the year! I choose the second one. However, I do still have some Christmas stuff on hand, so if anyone wants to make some fun things email me and we can get together for a fun stamping afternoon. :)

Ok, now on to the fun stuff! :) I love LOVE this fun gift idea! I first saw THIS fun idea on Ashley's blog and loved it. I had been saving this to show you because it was possibly going to be part of the class, but since its not happening I wanted to show you now. :) I changed my package up a bit from Ashley's and I used a medium size cello bag to hold my tags so that I could fit a few more. :) It is such a fun and simple project...I love them! :)

Advent Calendar...

Well, first, sorry about the long break. I spent the time with family for the holiday and it was great! Of course I got some stamping in to, so that made it even better. :)

So do you remember awhile back when I showed you THESE triangle boxes, and I mentioned I had something fun in mind that I just needed to finish?! Well, I finally got them finished. :) I made 24 of the triangle boxes in the little ornament size to use as an Advent Calendar. I love them...so much that I am just using them to look at. :) I am so mean? I did something else for my kids, because I just loved these to much to let them rip them open. :) All of them on my little pencil pine tree.
