Little Notecards...
Last month my cute friend Megan gave me a package of these darling note cards and envelopes. They are the perfect little note card or tag for so many things. They would be great to toss in with a gift or to give with a plate of cookies...so many great ideas come to mind. :)
Well, I was inspired by hers and wanted to make some as well. I did mine very Christmas-y because I thought they would be perfect to give with my neighbor gifts this year! :)

Clearly Fun...
I love making boxes! They are so much fun to decorate and even funner to fill and give away! :) A few weeks ago when I was borrowing some of Ashley's Big Shot dies, I thought how fun it would be to make some clear boxes...I cut a bunch out but hadn't had time to play with them till the other night.
So, this is the Box #2 die...it is such a fun box. I am still in Halloween mode, so of course I had to make it all fun and Halloween-y. :)
Here is a close up of the ghost. I don't know if you can tell, but I crinkled up the black scallop before I glued it on, and I embossed the ghost with black embossing powder. :)

Fabulous Shimmer...
I have a super fun card to show you today! I received this as a swap from my fabulous friend and upline Ashley. This card is great, but it was made even better by putting shimmer spray all over it. Have you seen the new shimmer paints in the mini catalog? Well, they are great. There are so many fun things you can do with them...one more great thing was Ashley made shimmer spray by adding some paint to rubbing alcohol. It is hard to get a good picture of it, but trust me...it is fabulous! :)
Here is a close up where you can see the shimmer a little better. Awesome huh?! Plus, the best part about it in my opinion...it dries fast and then its done, it doesn't get all over the place! I love the way glitter looks, but it drives me crazy when it is all over...so this is the best of both worlds! :)

Halloween Card Ideas...
I went to a training event last weekend and got some super cute cards! I thought I would share a couple in case you are in need of some fun Halloween ideas! :) Both cards I am going to show you use the cute Pumpkin Patch set. I love it. :) This first card was done by my friend Candice Anderson. Isn't this mummy so stinkin cute?! The eyes are a piece of window sheet, to give a sneak peek of the inside....what is inside, you ask?
A cute row of pumpkins! So fun and so clever! :)
This next card was done by my awesome upline Brandi! It is a swing or flip flop card. If you want to make one yourself, there is a tutorial HERE. Anyway, here is the front of the card...

Dasher...
Back in August, during convention, I went to a shoebox swap. For anyone that doesn't know what that is...it is when group of people get together and everyone brings all the supplies for one card, cut and ready to go in a "shoebox" and then we all go around and make each other's card. It is a lot of fun and you come home with a large variety of cards. :) This card I want to show you today was done by my cute friend Jan. I love this Dasher stamp and loved the different things she did. Like the way we attached the "Merry Christmas" with linen thread and the ribbon border. :)
Here is a close up of the fun glitter on his antlers. :) If you have any questions, let me know.

A bit of a change...
Before I get to into the fun card, I want to wish my cute parents Happy Anniversary and a Happy Birthday to my awesome mom!
I thought I would change things up a bit and show you something that wasn't Halloween. :) I am at a big group meeting this weekend and one of the fun things about group meetings is of course, swaps! :) This is the card I made that I was going to do for my swaps. Between work and my new church calling though, I ran out of time and so I didn't end getting any swaps done. Sad. Anyway...I still love this card and wanted to share. I embossed the cute Santa in black and then used my aqua painter to color him in. I used white craft ink for all the white. He has got to be one of my favorite Santa's! Here is a close up of the fun embossing. I love the way it looks. :)

Purple People Eaters...
So I used my scallop circle to make the bodies...I punched them out once, put a little dotto on the back and stuck them to computer paper, then punched them again only I turned the punch just slightly. :) I used the word window punch for the legs and shoes and then the 1", 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches for the eyes. I put a peppermint patty in the middle. :) Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Fun Halloween Treats...
Now, to make these treats is so SO easy. I used the Petal Card Die and the Big Shot. Then just fold on three sides, add a little adhesive and your done. Decorate however you want. :) Seriously, so fast! One piece of advice when you are gluing it...I fold the sides in first, then fold the bottom up. Just put a little adhesive on the bottom section, but not in the middle of or you will glue your treat holder shut and wont be able to get a piece of candy in it. :) Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Halloween Bear...
Hee hee...how cute is this little bear?! Ok, I love him. :) I finally got a little time the other night to just sit down and play. I have been borrowing this stamp set from my upline and have wanted to make something with that cute hat! It is kinda hard to tell, but I embossed the hat with Iridescent Ice, to make it all sparkly. The cute little bear is the Little Paws Embosslit from the new Build-A-Bear collection. He is just so fun. :)
Here is a close up of the hat...you can kinda see how sparkly and fun it is. Definitely cuter in person though. :)

Out of the Box Cuteness...
Last week I needed a little Thank You card for a friend and I wanted to use some of my new fun goodies. :) I just got the Finial Press Embossing folder and the Out of the Box hostess set. I LOVE that little elephant, he is so stinkin cute. :) Anyway...so since those things were both new I wanted to play with them. One of my friends favorite colors is the Pacific Point, so of course I had to use that. :) I distressed EVERYTHING on this card. I love the way it turned out!
So when I was done with that card I wanted to make another one using a current color, so I used Rich Razzleberry, one of my favorite new colors. :) I used a dauber to rub a little ink on the twill tape as well, just to make it fit in. :)
Stamps: Out of the Box, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White Craft, Pacific Point (Retired)
