Birthday Calendar...

*Warning-lots of pictures!

So I have been busy lately trying to get this birthday calendar done for an upcoming class. Sadly, I only ordered one when I put in my order, so there are a few pages with mistakes that I will fix before the class. I wanted to show it to you anyway, mistakes and all. :) Other than the mistakes, I really like the way this has turned out. Thank you Becky for wanting to do this class! :) If you are interested in making one for yourself, contact me at welldunnideas@hotmail.com. Enjoy!

Just a Reminder...

Just a reminder that today is the LAST day to order any of the fabulous items in the Stampin' Up! mini catalog. There are so many fun things in there, I will miss them! :)

Email me at welldunnideas@hotmail.com if you would like to put in an order!

Workshop Card #2...

This is the other card that my workshop girls did. I really liked this card. I found it here, and just changed the colors a little and simplified it, because I knew I was going to have a big group. The workshop went well and I know the girls enjoyed it. :) All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Lovley Labels...

Another blue and brown combo, I told you that I love it. Anyway, this is one of the cards that my workshop girls did this past Thursday. They really liked how it turned out! :) All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Origami Treat Cups...

I was down at Ashley's house stamping one day and she was making a bunch of these for the Farmers Market. I thought they were so cute and would make perfect little door prizes for my workshops. So here are just two of the ones I made. Inside I put a little York patty.

Here is just a close up of them! :)

Fun and Fast Hedgehog...

I love this little hedgehog/porcupine guy. (I obviously don't know what he is! :) ) He is so cute, I didn't really ever think I would use this stamp, but now I'm not sure what I was thinkin'! :) Anyway, this is one of the cards my workshop girls are doing this month. I love this color combo also, I use it all the time! Enjoy! Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, Polka Dot
Ink: Bashful Blue pad, Bashful Blue, Close to Cocoa, and Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Markers
Card stock: Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: Chocolate Chip Poly-twill Ribbon

Embossing Resist...

I showed my workshop girls how to emboss, but then I wanted to show them something else they could do with it, so I showed them the Embossing Resist technique. If you want to try it, you can learn how to here. I had never tried this before, so I think it turned out pretty well. Also, I love the little 3x3 card size. They are so fun to make and there is so much you can do with them! :) Enjoy! All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Fun and Fast Box...

I found this super cute little box on Inking Idaho's Blog. I thought it was so cute, that I had to make one...I made this up and put two York patties in it and gave it to my hostess today. I love the way it turned out. I put lots of pictures of it, just so you could see it from different angles! :) Enjoy! All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Hostess Goodies...

Sorry, I know I haven't put anything up in a week, I have just been busy getting things for my workshop and my calendar class ready. (I will put pictures of the calendar class up soon.) Anyway, I got these little paper take-out cartons from Zurchers, and then I decorated to front and on the inside I put some little treats, a post-it key chain and a coupon for something free. I give these to the girls that sign up to host a party with me. So just wanted to show you!

I got the idea for the post-it key chains from Angie Juda. I love her blog, she has so many cute ideas!

Retired List...

So you know that Stampin' Up! will be coming out with the fabulous new Idea Book and Catalog in August, but to make room for all the fun new things they are putting in, they have to let some of the old favorites go. I thought I would post the retired list here for you...

Retired List in Alpabetical order
Retired List in Numerical order

If you would like to order any of these fun sets, email me at welldunnideas@hotmail.com. The last day to order from the retired list is August 10th.

Thanks!

Fathers Day Card...

For my dad of Fathers Day I made him this wallet card. I found the idea and instructions on Lorri's Blog. She has some really cute things. Anyway, my sister and I gave him new shoes so I didn't have gift cards to put in there, so I just made the little cards and then we all wrote a little message on the backs. I think it turned out really well. Enjoy!

Most of the stuff to make it came from other stuff I had from forever ago, so the only things SU! are the Close to Cocoa card stock and the Chocolate Chip Craft ink.

Color Inspiration Challenge #11

It's time for another color challenge. I am so glad that Kristina does these challenges, because I don't think I would have ever put these colors together. This is the inspiration she found from Ikea.

This is what I made...I really tried to focus on the stripes on the comforter. I really liked the way it turned out. Its hard to tell but I embossed the flower and the word fabulous, and then all the strips of yellow paper I cut and inked. :) Enjoy!

Stamps: Just B
Ink: So Saffron, Rose Red, Old Olive (Craft Ink)
Card stock: So Saffron, Rose Red, Whisper White and Grey from my stash :)
Accessories: Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brads, Paper Piercer, Slit Punch, Clear Embossing Powder

Another 'B' Card...

I know I know I haven't posted much that doesn't use this set, but I love it. I made a bunch of these cards for my cousins and friends birthdays that are over the next few months, so sorry if you see this before your birthday! :)

I had never seen a card folded like this until I went to this big card making night last month, it was a lot of fun and we made 24 cards in like 4 hours...there was some serious card making going on! :) Sometime I will post some pictures of the cards we made that night.

This is the first time I've done the stitching with the gel pen, and I like the way it turned out. Everything I used is Stampin' Up! except the green cardstock and I have had that for awhile so I am not even sure where I got it. Anyway, I had fun with the card so enjoy! :)

Stamps: Just B
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip and Certainly Celery
Accessories: 5/8 " Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brads, White Signo Gel Pen, Crafters' Tool Kit and Dimensionals.

Double Pocket Card...

Yesterday, I think it was, I got my weekly email from Splitcoast and they had this fun tutorial. I didn't think about even trying it until I was looking through the gallery of the fun things others had made and there were so many cute things, that I wanted to try it too! :)

So I got my ideas from a couple different people, I really liked how this one used the bright colors of the East Coast Prep DSP and then I really liked how this one made the second tag to hold a gift card! Such a cute idea! :) So I combined both ideas and came up with this. It really was pretty quick to make, I will definitely make more of these! :) Enjoy!

Fun Colors...

Awhile back Kristina Werner had her color challenge and even though I didn't get my card done in time for the challenge, I still loved the colors and wanted to make something. I made this card for a contest on the Clip-it-Up website. I love love love that product...its definitely a fave. Anyway, the colors for the challenge were Orchid Opulence, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White. I love this stamp set and it is retired...so sad, I know but it still one of my favorite sets. Its hard to tell from the picture, but on top of the purple flowers I put Iridescent Ice and Crystal Effects. Definitely much more sparkly in person.
