More Party Hearty...

I want to show you the other birthday card I made recently. It was my Brother-in-laws birthday last week, so I cased Angie again and made this fun card. :) You can see Angie's card HERE. I kept the layout and stamps the same but changed up the colors. :)
Now, since we don't have markers in the In Colors I had to be creative to get Baja colored hats. You can use a blender pen, but I wanted a nice dark color, so what I did was used scotch tape and put little bits of tape on the parts I wanted to be Chocolate Chip. Then I inked up my stamp in Baja...removed the tape pieces and then used my Chocolate Chip marker to color the rest. :)

This card is so fun because when you open it up there are pop-up spirals inside. We saw this fun technique last year at convention and I finally made one. :)
A close up of the fun springy party hats. :)
Enjoy...and if you have any questions, let me know! :)

What I used:
Stamps: Party Hearty
Ink: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip pad and Marker
Cardstock: Kraft, Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Stamp-a-ma-jig, 1 3/4", 1 3/8", 1" & 3/4" Circle Punches, Dimensionals

Giraffe Birthday Card...

Isn't this the cutest card ever! :) I got this fun card as a swap from my friend Mindy at our big training meeting this past April. The theme for our swaps was "All About Punches". I think she definitely accomplished that. :) Her card took 1st place out of all the great cards that were there.
Just FYI...the sentiment came from the 'Family Phrases' set and the circles in the background came from the 'Good Friend' set.
I hope you are all have a great day today! :) Enjoy!

Treat Purse...

I made this fun treat purse this weekend. I love how it turned out. I got the idea from my friend Ashley. You can see her treat purse HERE. She got the tutorial HERE just in case you want to make one also. :)
Ok, so if you use the original template, which I did....it is cute, but the front doesn't stay closed. The front flap just falls open, which is cute, but I liked how on Ashley's she made a latch to keep it closed, so I made one as well. Mine measures 1 1/8" x 4 1/8". Then I scored it at 1 1/8" and 2 5/8". The longer section gets glued to the back and then covered up by DSP. :)
Then here is the purse open.
I lined the inside of the purse with DSP as well. It hides the ribbon ends. Also, I know its not Easter anymore but all I had at the moment was Jelly Beans to put in it. :)
I hope you enjoy! If you make one be sure to let me know because I would love to see it. :)

Party Hearty!...

I saw this card on my friend Angie's blog almost a year ago and have been wanting to make it ever since. :) My sisters birthday is today, so I thought it was the perfect occasion. Happy Birthday Jen! :)

I love this stamp set Party Hearty...there are so many fun images! The card is bigger than normal, it measures 9 1/4" by 4" and fits inside a legal sized envelope. Really the only the thing I changed was I didn't put the photo corners on the card, and its only because I don't have that punch. :) Since we don't have a Baja and Kiwi marker, the green and blue hats were stamped separately, cut out and glued on. Love it. :)

I wanted to say I'm sorry for how quiet I have been. I can't believe I went a week without posting anything. Sorry about that. I have lots of things lined up to show you this week though to make up for it. :)

What I used:
Stamps: Party Hearty
Ink: Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Real Red, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze
Accessories: Bella Rose DSP, Corner Rounder Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Paper Piercer, Baja Breeze 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

The Cutest Bag Ever...

With the Designer Series Paper being on sale this month I wanted to show you a fun project you can do with all your DSP. These bags are so fun to make and of course, so cute! :) They are super easy to make and you can make them any size you want just by changing the size of your square of paper and the way you score it. :)

On this bag I just tied the black twine in a knot and then used a glue dot to attach it in between the bag and the top fold.
Then with this bag I used the fun clear rhinestone brads to attach the ribbon to the sides. I think this bag is my favorite. :)

Don't look to close...I had an accident with this bag and the side is all torn. :) It is still cute though. :)
***SPECIAL DEAL***

When you order the paper special this month from me, I will send you the all the directions so you can make your own "Cutest Bag Ever"! You can email me at welldunnideas@hotmail.com or CLICK HERE to shop online.

Wagon Full of Cards...

I have the cutest thing ever to show you! :) Ok, well I love it. :) How fun is this wagon box and little cards that go inside? The box is made out of the fun window sheets in the mini catalog, then strips of Close to Cocoa cardstock are added to the side to look like the fun wagon stamp in the Wagon Full of Fun set. I made 4 little 3x3 note cards using the cupcake from the same set to go in the wagon.
Now, just in case anyone is wondering...no, I can't share the directions. I got them from a fun group called UStamp. There is a small fee to sign up and then they post lots of fun projects with all the directions. If you want more information click HERE.
The original directions were for a bigger wagon that held bigger cards, but I didn't have any envelopes for that size and wanted to be able to put envelopes in the wagon as well, so I changed things up a bit. :)

Here is a shot of the four cards I put in it...basically the same cards, just with different DSP on each card. I love the Sweet Always paper, so fun and I think perfect for this project! Also, I did a bit of paper piecing on the bottoms of the cupcakes, to give all the cupcakes cute baking cup type wrappers. :)
Just a close up of the cute cupcake wrappers and yummy glitter! :) Enjoy!

What I used:
Stamps: Wagon Full Of Fun
Ink: Black Staz-On, Chocolate Chip (for sponging), Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose
Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Accessories: Window Sheets, Sweet Always DSP, Vintage Brads, 5/16" Chocolate Chip Brads, Pewter Eyelet, 5/8" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 1/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Scallop Edge Punch, Blender Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals

Fun Pages...

To start National Scrapbooking Month out right, I want to show you these pages that I did this weekend. I know, there is some non-Stampin' Up! product on here. *Gasp* Don't judge me. :) I really try to stick with SU! product, its pretty easy because its about all I own...however, I have had (and loved) this paper for about 2 years and just haven't used it. :) It is from Imaginice and I got it knowing I wanted to use it for some of my sons pages, but because of how much I love it, I haven't been able to bring myself to even cut it. :) I just wanted whenever I used it for to be perfect. :) You know what I mean right? Or am I the only paper hoarder out there? :)

Anyway, I wanted the main strip to have lots of dimension, so there are brads, popped up stars and our fabulous corduroy buttons all over it. The tags behind the photos have my journaling on them.
Just a close up of all the fun dimension.
So, again...sorry its not Stampin' Up! and I can't tell you were to get the paper, if they even still make it, but I love these pages and wanted to share. :)
