Fifth Avenue Floral and Totally Tool...

Here are a few more of the cards from the big card making night. The first 4 cards are made using one of my favorite sets, Fifth Avenue Floral...so much fun! :)

These next cards are made with the Totally Tool set. It's a perfect "guy" stamp set. :) Oh, and we did make 4 cards using this set, but I just realized that I didn't get a picture taken of one of them. I will try to do that and get it added. :)

Gift Box of Cards...

I absolutely LOVE the new set Fifth Avenue Floral. Funny thing is, it wasn't one of the sets at first that I HAD to have, but things have changed. :) Ok, so awhile back my friend Ashley made THIS PROJECT and I have wanted to make one ever since! I finally did it and here it is! :)
I did this 10 card gift box. There are 10 cards and envelopes all packaged in this cute box.
Here is a close up of one of the cards. All ten are the same as far as the images, but the sentiments are not all the same. :)

I know this one is hard to see, but here are all the different cards. I did 2 of each to make the ten cards. I used Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Gray for the flowers and then stamped the sentiments in Basic Black. Then I stamped all the envelopes. I did one flower on the front and a second flower on the back flap. So fun! :)
I hope you enjoy! I sure had fun making them! :)

Great Friend...

Super quick post today...I am doing a booth tomorrow and and busy trying to get everything finished up. So, if you are in the North Ogden area, stop by North Ogden Jr. High and see me! :)

These cards all use another fun set from the new mini called Great Friend. The second card also uses the new super fun window sheets that are in the mini catalog. We used a small strip and hooked it on at the ends with brads. The butterfly slides up and down on the card! :)

Enjoy! If you have any questions, let me know. :)

Wagon Full of Fun...

So on Monday I shared with you my swap card that I took to my big training event. Well, the official meetings are on Saturday, but the night before we always have a big card making night where we get to make 24 different cards in 4 hours. I wanted to share them with you, so for the next few days I will post a new set of cards. :)

These cards were all made using the new set in the mini Wagon Full of Fun...I love this set! :) In fact I have a class coming up using this set. :)

So fun huh?! If you have any questions about which products are used, just let me know! :)

Color Challenge Card...

I love playing in color challenges, and when I first saw THIS ONE on my good friend Ashley's blog, I knew I wanted to play. However, I also thought it would be easy and today I was having the hardest time! :) I think this card for sure looks better in person, but its still not my fav card. It needs something...any ideas? :)
So, on the Saffron piece on the bottom, its hard to tell, but I ran it through the Big Shot to give it some texture, then used my sponge to rub some Saffron ink onto it to make the dots pop a bit more. So much fun! :)
The flowers use two different techniques, the rock n' roll technique and the kissing technique.
Enjoy! If you have any questions, let me know! :)

Time to Swap!...

Well, I did it, I finally decided on a swap. :) This past weekend was a big business training event. I love going to these events...they are always so much fun, and I bring back SO much that I can use in my business. :) Anyway, we always have swapping and the theme for this year was "All about Punches!"...our card was supposed to focus on punches. So, this is what I finally decided on....
I love this card. I didn't come up with this one myself, but I loved it. The white centers in the flowers are faux brads. I punched out a bunch of little white circles, glued them all to my flowers and then added Crystal Effects to the top to make them look like brads. :) I still think this card needs a word or something, but I left it blank for the swap so that people could customize it the way they wanted to. :)
Enjoy! If you have any questions let me know. I will be back later with a color challenge card...if you want to play along to click HERE. My fabulous friend Ashley is doing her first color challenge on her blog. Go play! :)

A Spinner Card...

Last night I was playing and trying to come up with a swap card that uses punches. Well, I must say that I love this card...however, I don't think I will use it for the swap because of how long it too to make. :) So, since I'm not using it, I thought I would show it to you.

This is a spinner card and so the flower is glued to some pennies and then when you tilt the card back and forth the flower spins. It is really a fun card.
To make the polka dots, I used my Polka Dot background stamp, inked it up with Versamark and then after I stamped it on the black cardstock I poured white embossing power onto it and heated it up. I love it. :) Also, I used one of our new, fun 5/16" Jumbo Brads.
If you have any questions, let me know! :)
What I used:
Stamps: Petal Pizzazz, Polka Dot, Really Retro
Ink: Versamark, Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Kiwi Kiss
Cardstock: Kraft, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: Word Window Punch, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Pennies, Dimensionals, 5/16" Jumbo Silver Brad

Shoebox Cards (Part 1)...

I just wanted to share all the fun cards that I got to make at the shoebox swap. There were 12 cards that we all got to make, so I will show you half today and the other half tomorrow. :)
This card I didn't have time to finish that night, so I stamped what I needed and brought it home. Its just not finished yet and I wanted to be able to show you now. :)
I'm not going to list everything used because there is so much, but if you have any questions on a specific card, let me know. :)

New Stamps...

This past Wednesday I went to a shoebox swap hosted by my fabulous upline Brandi! I always love going to shoebox swaps because it is always just a fun night full of talking, laughing and of course stamping! :) Anyway, I wanted to show you the card I made for the swap. I used my new Wagon Full of Fun set (love it!) which you can find in the new mini catalog and the fun Rockabilly Specialty paper. I LOVE this paper and can't believe I waited this long to get it. :)
I colored the cupcake with blender pens and then made the frosting all sparkly with our Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Just a close up of all the fun sparkles and the fun glossy design that is printed right on the paper! :)

Let me know if you have any questions. :)

What I used:
Stamps: Wagon Full of Fun, Short & Sweet
Ink: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red
Cardstock: Kraft, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Rockabilly Specialty DSP, Black Brads, Back 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Blender Pen, So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals

2-4-6-8 Boxes

Wow, ok...so first I want to apologize for how long it has been since I have posted anything new. The weather has been SO nice and warm the last few days that I have been taking full advantage of it with my kiddos. It has been so nice. :)

Well, today I want to show you a 2-4-6-8 Box. They are so easy to make and I think they are perfect for so many little things. This first one I actually made a bunch of, I have a TON of this fun Sale-A-Bration paper and so I just made a lot while I was at it. :) I should have taken a pic of them all together, but I didn't think about it, so maybe later. :)Then as I was making the first one, I thought, how cute would these be as little favors for a baby shower?! :) So, of course I had to make one of those too. :) I love it, what can I say...I just think it is so cute! :)

Here is another thing you can do with this box. Instead of pinching the top closed and tying it with ribbon, I left this one open and made a ribbon handle. This gives you a little more room to put things in it and just gives it a whole new fun look. :)
Just a close up of the super fun rhinestone brads. :)
If you have any questions about anything I used, let me know! :)
