Look how thick that stack of DSP is!

Novembers Club Project...

Ok, so first off I need to apologize for being absent for so long....busy busy, but that's no excuse. :) Second, who loves boxes, or 3D things in general! Me, me (raising my hand) me...ok, so I think we get that I love 3D things. :) I just love the fact that you can make fun gifts and containers all by yourself from a piece or pieces of cardstock. Plus, yes it may be easier to just go buy the box or whatever, how much cuter is it when you make it yourself! :)

Anyway...enough of that...on to the project. I first saw this super cute pizza box HERE on Jen Del Muros blog. I love it! I changed the dimensions a bit on mine to make just a bit smaller to perfectly hold 3x3 cards and envelopes.
These are the cute little cards we put inside. So fun...and anyone that knows me knows that I hate using glitter....I LOVE love the way it looks, I just hate using it because is gets EVERYWHERE! But...I am loving it on all my Christmas stuff, its like the project just isn't complete without glitter. So, I may be giving in and changing my mind on the whole glitter thing. :)

Its Been Awhile...

Yesterday I got invited to go scrapbook, and I was so excited. This is seriously the first time I have scrapbooked in 3 years! :) I had so much fun and I am so excited to start scrapbooking again. :) I used the retired Simply Scrappin Kit Creative License to make these pages, so fun....and I have to say that I am loving Simply Scrappin Kits. :) Anyway, just wanted to share because I am so proud. :)

Also, I want your thoughts....I had always planned to make a scrapbook/books for each child and then one for myself, I still want to, but at the same time don't want to make a bunch of duplicate pages, so I was wondering what you do? Do you have one for each kid or just one big one for yourself and then your kids can fight over it later? :) Any thoughts would be great!

Bunko Prize #2...

Ok, so this is definitely one of my favorite things I have made so far. I know its nothing new, but it's new to me and I just love it, I love how it opens, I love how many cards it holds...everything, so fun! :) I got the idea from my friend Kristine, she has a pretty similar box and cards HERE, but the main thing I did was changed the size. The box she made holds the note card sized cards, still cute, but I needed full size cards for the Bunko prize so I changed it a bit. :) I must say too, this set has been so much fun...I have used it sooo much. :) If you want to get this set for yourself before Christmas for all your holiday cards, let me know...if you host a party and have $300 in sales (not hard to do by the way :)) this set can be yours for FREE, along with $35.00 in additional FREE merchandise! Sorry, had to throw that in. :)

Bunko Prize #1...

I was asked to make some of the prizes for my bunko group (whoo hoo! so much fun!) this month, so I'll show you this one now and then the other one tomorrow. :) I made a package of 5 cards and envelopes with a little bag topper. :) So fun.

This is my color challenge card and I loved it, so I made more. :)
This is the same card as the one in my card class this month, but I loved the layout and everything so I just changed up the colors. :) I made a card like this awhile ago but I can't remember if I showed you, if so oh well, its still cute. :) I embossed the snowflakes on the side and also sponged the edges with Kiwi Kiss to make the scallop stand out more. :)

This card is a case from Ashley, you can see hers HERE and HERE. I just love this layout. :)
This card I also cased, but I cannot find it again for the life of me...that or its late and I'm not thinking straight...I will look again tomorrow, but, so sorry to whoever came up with this cute card. :)
What I used:
Too many things :) If you want to know whats on a certain card let me know and I will tell ya! :)

A Quick Project...

This is just a little Save the Date card that my mom asked me to make for her. The only thing left to do on it is stamp a little star over the date of the party, but I am going to let my mom do that after she is sure of which day. :) I thought it turned out pretty cute and I was excited to finally use my spiral punch. :)
The stamps I used for the 'Save the Date' I have had forever, so I'm not sure who made them, sorry! Then the calendar I made on my computer. :)

What I used:
Stamps: Party Hearty
Ink: Basic Black
Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Kraft, Whisper White
Accessories: Holiday Treasures DSP, Spiral Punch, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Retired HodgePodge Hardware

Color Inspiration Challenge #30...

I have missed the last couple color challenges over on Kristina Werner's Blog but tonight I had a little time so I thought I would play real fast. :)
I am loving using this stamp as Christmas trees and since I still had this stamp sitting on my desk since using it to make my Christmas card for my class I just basically made the same card, only using these colors instead. :) Oh, however, I realized tonight that I don't have Sahara Sand *gasp* I know, so I used Kraft instead. :)

What I used:
Stamps: Party Hearty, Short & Sweet
Ink: Old Olive, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Kraft, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Accessories: Paper Crimper, 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds, Retired HodgePodge Hardware, Dimensionals

Snowman Soup...

Well here is another Treat Box. Its like the one I did HERE except I made it smaller. I wanted to make it a snowman soup holder. :) I thought it would be another fun gift for teachers, co-workers, etc. I saw the idea on SCS and loved it. I am going to be doing something similar at my Holiday Neighbor Gifts class, so I will wait to post that picture until it gets closer to the class. :)
Just a close of of the snowman on the front. :)

What I used:
Stamps: Deer Friends (Lv. 2 Hostess)
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Ski Slope DSP, Basic Black and Apricot Appeal Stampin' Write Markers, Blender Pen, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8", 1 1/4" and 1" Circle Punches, Silver Eyelets, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals

Triangle Box...

How fun are these boxes?! I love them....as soon as I got them in my newsletter from SCS I knew I wanted to make some. You can view the tutorial HERE if you want to give them a try yourself. Anyway, I made the big one first and was thinking it would make a fun gift for co-workers, teachers, anyone...I filled mine full of Hershey kisses, but you could put lots of different candies in the big one. So at the bottom of the tutorial it shows a little box so I made some of those too...and I have to say I LOVE the little ones! :) I think they would be so cute used as like the To/From tag on Christmas presents, neighbor gifts, etc. I was also thinking how cute as little ornaments on a tree. They will fit one Hershey kiss in them or you could put M&M's or something, but if I am giving it to someone I like the candy to be wrapped. :) Ok, so I have one more idea for these that I love...I thought of it the other night laying in bed (is it just me or does anyone else lay in bed and think?) so I just have to get that finished and then I can show it to you! :) Be excited, its way cute!

Just a close up of the flowers...I love this idea (it's not mine) :), but you just put a glue dot in the center of the flower and then put green microbeads on the glue dot. So fun!:)

If you have any questions let me know!

Cookie Mix Jar...

Isn't this jar so fun?! Now, I'm not saying that there aren't other decorated jars out there, but this one is mine and I like it! :) I have been working on a Christmas Class with gifts to give your neighbors and I made this up as a cute example. Lots of people like to give the cookie mix in a jar gifts, but how much fun would it be to give THIS jar full of cookie mix?! I used my coluzzel to cut the circles on the top of the jar...and I am loving this Ski Slope DSP from the holiday mini. Too fun! :)

Stamps: Deer Friends (Lv. 2 Hostess Set)
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red

Not so much...

Ok, one more since I left you hangin for so long! :) I have been working on my Christmas card class and trying to come up with fun Christmas cards that don't take forever to make since people will be making 20 in one night. This is one that didn't make the cut...it just needs something, but I don't know what...well, I know a whole lot I would like to do to it, but then its not a quick card anymore! :) Anyway...I thought I would still show you and let you be the judge. :) Don't be to harsh! :)
What I used:
Stamps: Snow Swirled
Ink: Basic Black, Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum
Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Silver Brads, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Silver Cord, Dimensionals

Baby Wipes...

Ok, so sorry for the gap in posting...I have been sick and busy, which made being busy not too much fun. :) I had a workshop tonight and when I was getting ready for it I was having a hard time deciding which technique to show, well, after I saw THIS cute card by Ashley, (also my fabulous upline!) I knew what I would be showing! :) Anyway....I wanted to give them a few different ways to use the baby wipes, so first I showed them THIS way, which is how I made the butterfly on my card and then I showed them the stripes like Ashley's card. It really is a pretty fun technique, one that I hadn't tried until now, but I can see lots more possibilities with this! :)
What I used:
Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Ink: Basic Black; Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Pink Pirouette classic re-inkers
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals
