Shoebox Swap Card...

Well, I finally decided on this card. I used pretty much the same color combo as the card I posted yesterday, but I think this card turned out lots cuter. :) On this card I did add a little more to the flower. I cut out the small scallop circle from the Birds and Blooms Sizzlets set. I have to admit, I got that set when I got my Big Shot...like 6 months ago, and this is the first time I have used it. :) I think I will have to break those out more often. :)
Here is a close up of the cute flower/button. :)

Giraffe Birthday Card...

Isn't this the cutest card ever! :) I got this fun card as a swap from my friend Mindy at our big training meeting this past April. The theme for our swaps was "All About Punches". I think she definitely accomplished that. :) Her card took 1st place out of all the great cards that were there.
Just FYI...the sentiment came from the 'Family Phrases' set and the circles in the background came from the 'Good Friend' set.

Time to Swap!...

Well, I did it, I finally decided on a swap. :) This past weekend was a big business training event. I love going to these events...they are always so much fun, and I bring back SO much that I can use in my business. :) Anyway, we always have swapping and the theme for this year was "All about Punches!"...our card was supposed to focus on punches. So, this is what I finally decided on....
I love this card. I didn't come up with this one myself, but I loved it. The white centers in the flowers are faux brads. I punched out a bunch of little white circles, glued them all to my flowers and then added Crystal Effects to the top to make them look like brads. :) I still think this card needs a word or something, but I left it blank for the swap so that people could customize it the way they wanted to. :)

Two great swap cards...

So another thing that happens at our meeting is people bring swaps. All the swaps this year were so good. Sadly I ran out of time and didn't make any, but my friends Candice and Deborah were so sweet and just gave me one. They did a great job.

This card was made by Candice Anderson, I love it, its so fun and very Halloweenie...is that even a word?! Uh, it is now. :)

This card was made my friend Deborah...I love it, it is so clean looking (you know what I mean, straight lines, etc.) and it has one of my favorite techniques on it. Its called a waterfall card. You can view a tutorial HERE if you want to try one of these cards for yourself.

My Swap Card...

I said I would post the card I did for my swap, so here it is. It is basically the exact card we did here for one of my workshops, I just added the scallop edge along the bottom and used my cutter kit to distress the edges of the Bashful Blue card stock. I did this for my swap because I had a bunch left over from my workshop. :) Enjoy! All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Swap card...

My sisters work girls are doing a monthly swap, and they let me be in it. This month there wasn't a theme, it was do whatever, and so this is what my sister and I made for her card. We used the Baroque Motifs set...I LOVE that set, and the soft sky ink and paper, I will be sad when that is gone. I think they turned out well, and they totally remind me of a wedding card.
I don't know what my deal was, but forgot to take a picture of my swap card, so when I get it back I will post a picture of mine! :) Everything SU! except the black ribbon that came from Walmart.
