Hello Again...

We got to make so really cute projects this year at convention. I wanted to show you the two things we made with the set Hello Again. :) I have to admit this wasn't one of my favorite sets when I first saw it. I think it is because the images in it are small...I just don't know what to do with them. :) After playing with it though, I am really starting to like this set.
We made this cute card and matching envelope. It uses one of the fun new In Colors, Crushed Curry. Then we made this super cute little box. :) It has that yummy new polka dot ribbon. Some of my favorite ribbons this year. :)

We made some more really cute things this year. I can't wait to share them all with you. :)
Have a great day!

One-Layer Fun...

A couple weeks ago my sister asked me to make her a gift for one of the girls at her work. She wanted a box of simple cards. So, I did some fun one-layer cards and was able to fit 10 cards and envelopes in the box. :)
I love doing these cards. They are perfect when you need something super cute and super FAST! :) To make things easier and even quicker, I made a template. I just cut my cardstock the same size as the card front and then cut out the section where I wanted the black frame to be.

Then I lined it up on the card and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to make sure I stamped everything right where I wanted it. :) I used the trio flower stamp from the Eastern Blooms set and the thank you from the Short & Sweet set. I just colored them with markers and then added some fun Dazzling Diamonds to the centers of each flower. :)
Here is a close up of the fun glitter on the flowers. :)
Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Short & Sweet
Ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Write markers
Card Stock: Whisper White
Accessories: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds

Have a great day!

Convention Displays...Cards...

Again, more convention displays. :) There were so many fun ideas and cute things that people made. :) I can't wait to sit down and make some of them. :) Oh, also...in our convention bags this year we were given 4 sets and a wheel, so I focused on taking pictures of things using those sets to give me lots of ideas. :) Just in case you were noticing that there were a lot of the same sets being used. :)

Convention Displays...Scrapbook Pages...

One of the fun things about convention is they always have so many fun projects on display! I love taking pictures and coming home with all sorts of fun new ideas! :) I thought I would show you just a few of the cute scrapbook pages I took pictures of.

Enjoy! I will be out of town for the weekend, so if I don't post anything...don't worry! I will be back! :) I wont go a month without posting again. :)

Convention Swaps...

I know that Convention ended almost a month ago and I have been slacking sharing anything with you. I have SO many fun things to share though, so I figured I better get started. :) I signed up for some organized swaps during convention. It was great, I just made a whole bunch of my pages and came home with lots of new ideas! Anyway: I want to share what I made for the swaps.
This is my 6x6 page/card. We were supposed to make a page that could easily be folded in half and turned into a card. That way people get both ideas. :) I love this page. For the flower I punched two scallop circles out of the yummy new Melon Mambo, and then cut in between all the scallops to make it look like petals. I hope that makes sense. :)
Then these are the pages I did for the 12x12 swap. I used the Pick a Petal set to make the cute border at the bottom and then the "petal" stamps to make the candle flames! I also used the fun texture plates and the Big Shot to texture all my candles, I think it gave them so much fun dimension. :) I want to give a BIG Thank You to some of my stamping friends...Candice, Mindy, Heather and Jan! (Let me know if I missed someone. :)) My kiddos were sick the whole week before Convention and so I wasn't able to get my 12x12's done at home. They were so great and helped me finish all my pages so they would be ready to swap. Thanks again...it really meant a lot to me! :)
I received lots of great swaps back, so I will share those in the next few days! :)
