Now, I know that Thanksgiving has long been over...but since I slacked and didn't post anything for two months, you didn't ever get to see the fun holiday stuff I made. :) I think over the next little while I will show you all of those holiday projects, but with most of them, you change them up for any reason or holiday. :)
Today is my cute turkey...I love him. :) I saw a lot of different versions of the sweet treat cup turkey, but this was my version. I of course had to have candy that matched, so I got Reese's Pieces...they were the perfect colors. :) We made the turkey at a workshop in Southern Utah. The hostess wanted a place card for her guests on Thanksgiving, so I glued the turkey to a 3x3 card. Wouldn't you love sitting down to him?! :)

A Quick Tag...
I just wanted to share this quick little tag that I made a couple weeks ago as a handout for my lesson at church. I had to make about 20, but even doing that many, they went really fast. I cut the tag out using the Two Tags die and the Big Shot and then I used the new Vintage Vogue set from the mini. I love this set! :)
If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks for visiting...have a great day! :)

Cute Cookies...
I needed a quick little Thank You for a friend that helped me take dinner in to a family in our neighborhood. I made some cake mix cookies (the easiest cookies ever! :)) and put them in a cello with some of the fabulous new satin ribbon. I added the tag and called it good. It was a super quick thing, but I love how it turned out. :)
Here is a close up of the tag. I scrunched and crumpled up all the pieces of the flower and then inked them up with a sponge and Chocolate Chip ink. Is it just me or is anyone else loving the new flower and heart punches?! They are so much fun. Ok, so then I cut out a tag with the Two Tags die and put the flower on there. Super easy...I love that die. It gets used ALL the time. :)

Birthday Fun...
Last month our friends little boy turned 1! He had a monkey theme for his party and when I saw that, I got all these ideas in my head. :) I wanted to make a monkey tag and a matching bow. I have seen these bows online before, but I have never tried to make one. So this is my first attempt...pretty good, I think. :) I mixed up the layers a little, but its still cute.
I wanted a BIG bow, so this was the next one I tried. I like how it turned out...I know a few things for next time I try one this size to change, but all in all...pretty fun. And it is really big! :)
This is the bow I finally decided on. Its a little smaller than the last one, but I love how it turned out. It was perfect. :) Here is just a shot of all three together so you can see the size differences. :) Also, I know some of the papers are retired, but I still wanted to show you. :)
Now, on to the cute monkey. :) Isn't he so cute?! Maybe I shouldn't think that, but I do...I love his little heart nose. :) I used the Scallop Circle die and Big Shot for his head and then various circle punches for his eyes, ears and mouth. :)
This is what I did with the back. I cut out a circle with the Clear circle die and then used that to cover up the ears and make a clean spot to write on.
Here is the final product. :) I found some fun kraft wrapping paper and then used some linen thread to make the monkey into a tag. I had so much fun making it and I know the birthday boy had fun opening it all up. :)
If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks for visiting...have a great day! :)
