My First Workshop...

Last night I had my first workshop, so I wanted to show the fun things we did.

The just B cuz post-it holder was one of the things I demonstrated...I didn't get a picture of the other thing I did. :( I love these little post-it holders, they are so fun to make plus I think they turn out so cute!

Then the Candy Bar holder and Thank You card are what my guests got to make. So I love the 'Just B' set, you can use it a ton and its quick and easy, definatly a favorite! :) Also I got the Thank you card from Ashley, she is so creative, but I changed it just a little from hers, just to simplify it even more only because most of the guests at my workshop had never even stamped before last night.
I think things went really well last night and I am so excited to be able to do this! I hope you enjoy!

My Boring Blog :)

After being told my blog was kinda boring :) (which by the way, I agree) I figured I better got some new stuff on here! :) So this is a piece of tin that I covered with the East Coast Prep DSP to make a magnet board. I made this to give to the winner of a game we played at my workshop. I really liked how it turned out! Sorry the picture is kinda dark, my camera is funny and it was night time. :)

Post-it Holder

My fabulous upline Ashley made one of these super cute post-it holders to give me an idea of something to make for my upcoming workshop. This is what I made...its just like Ashley's except I changed the colors a bit. I know its hard to tell what it is, especially since I don't have a mini pen to put in it yet, but I just wanted to get this posted. :) I used the 'Just B' set, which is super fun, and then I was really loving the pinks and greens together, so I used Pink Passion, Pixie Pink & Gable Green.

My First Challenge...

Every week Kristina Werner does a Color Inspiration Challenge. This is the first week I have finished one on time! :) This is the inspiration for this week, it came from Martha Stewart.

The colors are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Old Olive & Tempting Turquoise.

This is what I came up with!

I love these colors, they remind me of summer. It would be nice if we could get a couple days in a row that felt like summer, but in the mean time these fun colors will work! :) I used the blender pens to color the star, but I'm not sure if it shows up very well. All Supplies Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes

Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron

Cardstock: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White

Accessories: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brad

# 2

I can't believe I am taking on another blog...I have a hard time keeping up with my first one, but I wanted to have a blog dedicated to just my stamping and crafty stuff I make, so here is the start of blog # 2! :)
