Lucky...

So I do know that its June, but this was a project I made for my house and as I was looking through pictures, I realized I never showed it to you. :) Also, there are a few retired products on this, but again, since it was just for me I used what I had. :)
I so love this! Maybe I shouldn't say that, but I do. Its one of those things I love and just want to look at all the time. I think it was almost May before I finally took it down to store for next year. :)

I posted lots of pictures so you could see all the detail in each square. Again, everything is inked or sponged in some way...I just love so much the way that it makes things look. :)
If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks for visiting....Have a great day! :)

Welcome Home...

I'm baaack! :) I'm not promising anything though. I love being creative and making things, I just don't do it very often. I also love sharing the things I make, so here we are. :)
A little background on this card....My Brother-in-law had recently gotten his Realtors licence and sold a town house to their good friends. My sister called and asked if she sent me a picture of the new house if I would make a card for her. So that's what this was for. :) I had a lot of fun making this card. It was a little time consuming, but so much fun. :)
Here is a close up of the front door and such. I used the texture plates to try and make it look like brick and used window sheets in the windows to look like glass. :)

I think I sponged EVERYTHING. :) I love it. :)
If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks for visiting...Have a great day! :)

Turkey Treats...

Now, I know that Thanksgiving has long been over...but since I slacked and didn't post anything for two months, you didn't ever get to see the fun holiday stuff I made. :) I think over the next little while I will show you all of those holiday projects, but with most of them, you change them up for any reason or holiday. :)
Today is my cute turkey...I love him. :) I saw a lot of different versions of the sweet treat cup turkey, but this was my version. I of course had to have candy that matched, so I got Reese's Pieces...they were the perfect colors. :) We made the turkey at a workshop in Southern Utah. The hostess wanted a place card for her guests on Thanksgiving, so I glued the turkey to a 3x3 card. Wouldn't you love sitting down to him?! :)

Here he is from the side so that you can see the card. I love the way he turned out...maybe the only thing I would have changed would be inking the edges of everything. :) You know how I love everything with the edges inked. :)

If you have any questions, just let me know. Thanks for visiting...have a great day! :)

A Quick Tag...

I just wanted to share this quick little tag that I made a couple weeks ago as a handout for my lesson at church. I had to make about 20, but even doing that many, they went really fast. I cut the tag out using the Two Tags die and the Big Shot and then I used the new Vintage Vogue set from the mini. I love this set! :)

If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks for visiting...have a great day! :)

Cute Cookies...

I needed a quick little Thank You for a friend that helped me take dinner in to a family in our neighborhood. I made some cake mix cookies (the easiest cookies ever! :)) and put them in a cello with some of the fabulous new satin ribbon. I added the tag and called it good. It was a super quick thing, but I love how it turned out. :)
Here is a close up of the tag. I scrunched and crumpled up all the pieces of the flower and then inked them up with a sponge and Chocolate Chip ink. Is it just me or is anyone else loving the new flower and heart punches?! They are so much fun. Ok, so then I cut out a tag with the Two Tags die and put the flower on there. Super easy...I love that die. It gets used ALL the time. :)
